Paneer Tikka Recipe
Ingredients
- 200 Grams Paneer cut into square pieces.
- 5 Tbsp Curd.
- 1 Medium onion cut into square pieces.
- 1 Medium capsicum cut into square pieces.
- 1 Medium tomato cut into square pieces.
- 1/2 Tsp Turmeric powder.
- 1/2 Tsp Cumin powder.
- 1 Tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder.
- 1 Tsp Garam masala powder.
- 1/2 Tsp Chaat masala.
- 1/4 Tsp Dried fenugreek leaves.
- 1 Tbsp Ginger garlic paste.
- 1 Tbsp Gram flour.
- 1 Tbsp Lemon juice.
- 1 Tbsp Oil.
Instructions
Method for marinating paneer
- In mixing bowl add curd, gram flour, garam masala, red chilli powder, cummin powder, turmeric powder, chaat masala, fenugreek leaves, salt, ginger garlic paste, and lemon juice.
- Whisk well until all the ingredients are well combined.
- Once well combined and smooth add tomato, capsicum, onion, paneer and oil.
- Mix it gently with the marination.
- See that the paneer is coated well.
- Add 2 -3 drops of red orange food color (optional) and give it a mix.
- The marination is now ready - cover and rest it in a refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes remove the marination from the refrigerator.
- Now, take the wooden skewers - Insert capsicum tomato, onion, and paneer one by one till the skewer is filled.
- Fill all the skewers in a similar manner.
- Once all the skewers are filled - now grill the paneer.
- Heat a grill pan on a medium flame ( You can also use oven or non-stick pan to make) and spread some oil.
- Place the skewers in the pan and let it cook on medium flame.
- Flip the skewers at regular intervals so that it is cooked well on all sides.
- Brush it with oil or butter.
