Ingredients  

  • 3 Nos Bread Slices
  • 1/2 Cup Semolina ( Suji)
  • 1/2 Cup Curd
  • 2 Tbsp Rice flour
  • 1 Medium sized tomato - finely chopped
  • 1 Medium sized onion - finely chopped
  • Few coriander leaves
  • 4 Tbsp Oil
  • 1 Tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 Tsp Baking soda
  • 1 Green chilli
  • Small piece of ginger finely grated

Instructions 

  • In a grinding jar add suji (semolina), curd and small pieces bread slices
  • Add some water and grind it to form a smooth paste
  • The paste is now ready transfer it in a bowl
  • Add rice flour, onions, tomato, garlic, green chilli, coriander leaves, red chilli powder and salt and mix well
  • Now add half cup of water and mix it again
  • Cover it and let it rest for 10 minutes
  • After 10 minutes remove the cover add 1tbsp oil and baking soda and give it a mix
  • The batter is now ready for making cheela
  • Heat a non-stick pan on a medium flame

  • Spread few drops of oil and let it cook on medium flame until crisp
