Ingredients  

  • 1 Nos Small Liquorice (Mulethi stick)
  • 2 Pieces Two pieces of cinnamon stick (Dalachini)
  • 3 Nos Green cardamom (Choti Elaici)
  • 7-8 Nos 7-8 Cloves (Laung)
  • 10-12 Nos Black pepper corn (Kaali Mirch)
  • 1 Nos Small piece of ginger (Adrak)
  • 8-10 Nos Basil Leaves (Tulsi)
  • 1 Nos Bay leaf (Tej Patta)
  • 7-8 Nos Pieces of Black raisins (Kali Kishmish)
  • 1 Tbsp Jaggery (Gud)

Instructions 

  • In a Mortar & Pastel or Imam Dasta add Small Liquorice (Mulethi stick), Small pieces of cinnamon stick (Dalachini), Green cardamom (Choti Elaici), Cloves (Laung) and Black pepper corn (Kaali Mirch).
  • Crush all the ingredients.
  • Add ginger (Adrak) and Basil Leaves (Tulsi) - crush again.
  • In a pan or vessel heat three cups of water.
  • Add Bay leaf (Tej Patta) along with all the crushed ingredients / spices.
  • Mix well and let it boil for 5-10 minutes.
  • Add Black raisins (Kali Kishmish).
  • Add Jaggery (Gud) or half lemon juice for taste.
  • Mix all and let it boil again for 5-7 minutes.
  • Turn off the flame and strain the mixture in a cup or glass.
  • Healthy, immunity booster kadha is ready to drink.
  • You can also drink and get relief from cold and cough.
