Matar macaroni is a simple and delicious recipe cooked with tomatoes, onions and traditional Indian masalas which makes this matar macaroni a mouthwatering recipe.

Ingredients  

  • 50 Grams Macaroni
  • 1/2 Cup Green peas
  • 4 Tbsp Oil
  • 3 Medium sized onions - Finely chopped
  • 2 Medium sized Tomatoes - Finely chopped
  • 1/2 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 Tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 Tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 Tsp Garam masala powder
  • 1 Green chilli
  • Few coriander leaves
  • Salt as per taste

Instructions 

  • In a deep bottom pan add 4 Tbsp oil
  • Add 3 Medium Onions - Finely chopped - Saute until golden brown
  • Add 2 Medium Tomatoes - Finely chopped - Mix well
  • Add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Add tsp red chilli powder
  • Add 1 tsp coriander powder
  • Add 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • Add 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • Add 1 Green chilli and few coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Cover and let it cook for 2-3 minute
  • After 2-3 minutes remove cover - give it a mix
  • Add Macaroni - after soaked for 5 minutes
  • Add 1/2 cup green peas and give it a mix
  • Add 1/2 glass water and mix all the ingredients well
  • Cover and let it cook for 15 -20 minute - Stir in between
  • Macaroni Mutter Masala is ready - remove it in a serving dish
  • You can serve with Roti or Paratha
