First Wash and clean taro roots to remove mud from them.
Put the clean taro roots in a pressure cooker and add three glasses of water.
Let it boil and cook on medium flame for two whistles.
Once cooked, open the lid and check if the taro roots are soft enough.
Remove it in a bowl and let it cool.
Once it is cooled down, peel the taro roots.
To fry, heat oil in a pan on high flame.
Once the oil is heated, fry until it turns light brown and remove it on a plate.
Add two tbsp oil in a pan on medium flame.
Add coriander powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, turmeric powder, chaat masala, and salt to taste.
Stir all the spices for a few seconds.
Add the fried taro roots / Arbi in a pan and mix until it is coated well with all the spices.
Turn off the flame and remove it on the plate.
Arbi masala is now ready, served as a side dish
