Dal Pakwan Recipe is one the most lovable sindhi breakfast. Pakwan is tasty and delicious snack which is served with dal topped with green chutney and onion.
Boil dal with two cups of water, salt and turmeric powder for 25 mins untill cooked properly
For Tadka (Tempering)
Heat oil in a pan,add cumin seeds,let it crackle,then add red chilli powder,garam masala powder and green chillies. Cook for few seconds and pour over the cooked dal. Dal is ready.
Method For Making Pakwan
Take maida in a bowl add cumin seeds, black pepper, salt, oil and mix properly
Then knead a stiff dough with little water.
Let it rest for 15 min.
Make small round balls from the dough. Roll them in small disc or circles with rolling pin.
Prick with fork, to avoid pakwan from puffing.
Fry the pakwan in hot oil on low flame untill it turns crisp and golden.
Once fried serve the pakwans with the dal.
