In a deep bottom pan add 3 Tbsp Oil.
Add 2 Bay leaves, 3-4 cloves, and 1 small cinnamon stick.
Stir for a few seconds.
Add 2 finely chopped Medium onions.
Stir the onions until light brown.
Add 1 Tbsp ginger garlic paste.
stir again for a minute.
Add 2 Cups fenugreek leaves.
Add 1/2 Cup green peas.
Mix all the ingredients well.
Add 3 finely chopped medium tomatoes.
Add 1/2 Tsp turmeric powder.
Add 1/2 Tsp coriander powder.
Add 1/2 Tsp cumin powder.
Add 1/2 Tsp red chilli powder.
Add 1/2 Tsp garam masala powder.
Salt to taste .
Add 1 Chopped green chilli and mix well.
Cover with a lid and let it cook for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes check if cooked well.
Add 1 1/2 cup rice (washed and soaked for 30 minutes).
Now add 3 cups of water and give it a mix.
Cover and let it cook for 15-20 minutes on low flame.
Once it cooked well, remove it in a serving bowl and serve hot with papad, curd or raita.
