In a bowl add half cup curd, one tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp baking powder and 2 tbsp oil.
Whisk for a minute until it turns frothy or till it foam up.
Now add two cups of all purpose flour (Maida).
Mix well, add half a cup of water gradually to make a soft dough.
Knead the dough for five minutes until it turns soft and smooth.
Apply oil all over it and rest for 30 minutes.
Heat a pan on medium flame, add two cups of salt and spread evenly.
Place a small stand in a pan, cover and pre heat it for 5-7 minutes.
Take the dough knead slightly.
Now divide it into two equal halves and make round balls.
Take one portion and dust in dry all purpose flour.
With the help of a rolling pin, roll it gently.
Ensure that you don't roll it too thin.
Prick it with a fork all over.
Now put this in a pan which we have pre heated, I have used a lid covered with butter paper and placed the pizza base on it. You can also use cake mold or a baking tray.
Bake the pizza base in a pan covered with lid for 8-10 minutes on a medium flame.
Check if the pizza base is baked well.
If yes, turn off the flame and let it cool down.
Once it is cooled, you can see that the soft and fluffy pizza base is ready.
You can also store it for 2 -3 days.
