Heat a pan on medium flame add 2 tbsp oil.
Add 1/4 Tsp cumin seed and saute for a minute.
Add 1 Bay leaf, 2 small pieces of cinnamon and 3-4 Cloves and fry for a minute.
Add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and mix well for a minute.
Now add the grinded onion paste.
Mix well and let it cook for a minute or two on a medium flame.
Add 1 Tsp red chilli powder.
Add 1 Tsp garam masala powder.
1/4 Tsp turmeric powder.
Salt to taste, Mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes.
Lower the flame and add 1/2 cup fresh curd.
Mix well and let it cook for 3-4 minutes.
Add 1 cup of water and give it a mix.
Add 200 grams cottage cheese (Paneer) cut in cubes.
Add 1/4 cup fresh cream and mix well.
Cover and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
Shahi panner is ready, switch off the flame and remove it in a serving dish.
Top it with fresh cream and serve hot with naan, roti or paratha.
